I see a lot of people not understanding Blaine’s behavior last night, and I just. Combine these four factors:

1. Blaine’s tendency toward grand gestures and fantastical plans
2. The general euphoria that comes with marriage equality becoming more widespread and the fact that it’s now A POSSIBILITY
3. Post Mckinley shooting “seize the day” mentality
4. Burt being declared cancer free and everyone talking about second chances

And tell me you’re still surprised that Blaine would want to propose to Kurt.
