That really happened.

I’m not kidding.

After checking in, we left the hotel to explore the neighborhood and since the Al Hirschfield is just around the corner we went there first (to, yknow, take a million pictures with Darren’s posters). While we were walking up to the theater, we saw people at the stagedoor. We didn’t really know what the fuss was about, but the closer we got, the more obvious it became something was going on.. We got closer to the crowd and I saw the quickest flash of dark curls and at first I was like OH MY GOD IT’S DARREN

It became obvious pretty soon it wasn’t Darren though. Turned out it was Nick who had just gotten out of rehearsal and he was taking pictures with fans!. There weren’t a lot of people (maybe 20 or so) and most of them were Darren fans, I think, so there wasn’t any of the crazy Jonas hysteria I’ve experienced before, thank goodness. Everyone was very calm and his security was super nice!

We waited for our turn cause he was taking his time with the fans.. so incredibly nice! When he turned to me I said hi, and asked him if I could get a picture (which I will post when I get back!) and and then took my friends picture.

But you know, I figured this was probably my one and only chance I’d ever get at thanking him, so that’s exactly what I did.

I can’t believe I finally got to. I thanked him for being such an amazing inspiration and how his music helped me deal with a lot of things and just how thankful I am to be his and his brothers’ fan.

I actually felt myself getting emotional in that moment, though I probably didn’t show it. Those boys have done so much for me without even realizing, so to be able to speak those simple words and finally have them genuinely mean something? Words can’t explain my feelings.

He then thanked me with the cutest ‘Aww thank you, that means a lot’ and he like PUT HIS HAND ON MY BACK AND RUBBED IT before he turned to the last couple of fans and got in his car.

All of that happened within my first two hours in the city. Had we left the hotel five minutes later, we would’ve missed him. I’m so incredibly happy and thrilled I can’t even explain what I’m feeling right now! Nothing can ruin my week anymore, because I just met Nick fucking Jonas.

Also, while writing this a How To Succeed commercial with Nick came on the tv so now I’m all giddy. JFC.
